I like the example of a documentary film poster as it uses three film strips overlapping each other of screenshots of the film and is centred in the middle of the poster to stand out. This gives a subtle insight into the film of different scenes. I like the block background colour as it doesn't distract to audience from the film strips. I want the colours to be brighter as my film is a positive film and I want the audience to get this from my film poster as it a teen documentary.
This reminds me of my short film storyboard and how I decided to use a montage of 'Beth' (main character) pulling different facial expressions to show her personality quickly to my target
audience. This would be a good idea for my film poster as my film evolves around one character.
