Choosing Music for Short Film

I have chosen to use instrumental pop music for my short film as it makes my film up to date but the lyrics of the song can distract the audience. I have chosen the song 'Stitches' by Shawn Mendes. Shawn is a rising pop singer in his teens, which works well with my genre as it is aimed towards teens. It is a upbeat happy song which goes well with the plot of my film. I bought this on iTunes:

    I'm really impressed with all your attention to detail throughout your coursework Katy, very well done.
    There's some nice pauses in this music, which you could use to your advantage when it comes to editing, such as if Beth stops what she is doing, etc.
